Business Licensing

Thank you for your interest in locating your business in Vineyard, Utah! The rapidly-growing community of Vineyard is an excellent place to locate your business.

WHO MUST OBTAIN A BUSINESS LICENSE
If you engage in any business out of a physical location within the boundaries of Vineyard, you are required to maintain a valid, unexpired business license.  This includes home-based businesses.  Please note that registering a business name with the State of Utah Department of Commerce does NOT license a business with Vineyard.

HOW TO APPLY
If your business fits under one of the categories listed below, your application will require a notarized form and/or other documents.  Contact Business License Administrator Kelly Kloepfer to learn how to submit a specialized application for these business types using a pdf or paper form:
  • Alcohol License
  • Solicitors License
  • Food Truck
  • Seasonal/Temporary Business
  • Towing Certificate

All other business types may apply by using the online Business License Application Portal.

*Accessory Dwelling Units require a business license but are processed through Code Enforcement. Please reach out to Maria Arteaga (mariaa@vineyardutah.org) with questions regarding this specific license.
