The City Recorder’s office consists of the City Recorder, Deputy Recorder/Business License Administrator.
The City Recorder's office is the custodian of all official city records including agendas, minutes, ordinances, resolutions, proclamations, agreements, contracts, and business licensing. The office updates and maintains the municipal code for public access. Records management is a key function of the office.
The City Recorder’s office also receives and processes GRAMA requests. The State of Utah established the Government Records Access Management Act (GRAMA) to allow the public to make a request for a record from the appropriate Utah government official or agency.
For police reports please contact the Utah County Sheriff's Office. Their form can be accessed here.
The City Recorder’s office also administers all municipal elections, which are held on odd-numbered years.
